Shipping & Returns


If you return an item - we suggest UPS or FedEx, or the very least USPS with Tracking Options. We cannot be held accountable for packages lost while in transit to us. Save your shipping receipt, we cannot track incoming packages. 

Custom Made Items And Items With Engraved Name Plates are NON-RETURNABLE. Please make sure your order contains the right size, colour and engraving info. 

 In the event a return is necessary, please follow the steps below:

1. Call 859-987-0215 or email to secure a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number.
2. Please return merchandise in the original condition: unused and unworn. Include the RMA number and the original invoice or a copy of the original invoice with the merchandise AND instructions.

2a. If you ordered and did not indicate a need by date - we cannot refund shipping for this oversight - should you elect to return the item. Most of our halters are made to order and we always have a dozens of orders in front of yours. Simply ordering Next Day Air does not insure your halter will automatically go out the following day.  

3. Indicate the reason for the return on the invoice along with your instructions, RMA Number and email address
4. Please ship prepaid Fed Ex, UPS or United States Parcel Post. Sorry, we cannot accept COD returns. 
5. Used or worn items CANNOT BE RETURNED

The Following Items May Not Be Returned:

• Custom or special order items such as horse clothing, blankets, custom order color combinations, etc.
• Personalized dog collars and belts; please include all information requested when ordering these items to ensure your full satisfaction.
• Embroidered or monogrammed items and clothing.

Unauthorized returns will result in the merchandise being returned to you at additional cost.

In the event of a damaged product or shortage, contact the delivering carrier immediately and save all packing materials for inspection. Damages and shortages must be reported within 24 hours. Returns must be received within 30 days of the original purchase, unless specifically authorized by Quillin Leather & Tack. Please contact our customer service department if you feel you are entitled to an exception.

Your Shipping Charge from Quillin's in Paris Ky is just that and DOES NOT include Duty, Taxes or other fees that may be associated with your order - shipped outside the US. We have no control over these charges and we cannot credit your account for returned merchandise that you may refuse due to these unanticipated FEES. 

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
