By convention, a Breeding Name Plate used on thoroughbred and other breed halters has Two engraved lines and is in a Block Text. This is a popular plate for Show and Award halters
Top is the horses name - standard text size
Bottom line is the Sire / Dam or the Farm Name etc - in a Smaller text size
Our regular Two Line Plate has two equal sized text lines and is most often used for unnamed horses that are are shown and sold at horse sales.
