A man who wears a 36 pair of pants will take one of our 36 inch belts. Belts are sized to the center hole.
Jeans generally fit big - a 36 is REALLY a 38. We suggest the you get an exact waist measurement OR measure an old belt from the leather on the buckle end TO the hole it is being worn in.

For women the following is considered a "classic fit":

sizes 3-4 takes a 26" belt
sizes 4-6 takes a 28" belt
sizes 7-9 takes a 30" belt

Dog Breed Size Chart Our collars are sized TO THE CENER HOLE - our 16 inch collar is will fit a 16 inch neck. Holes are spaced between 3/4 and 7/8 inches apart (depending on collar size) so there is almost 4 inches of adjustment. DO NOT ORDER BY TOTAL LENGTH! Leather strap width varies (from 5/8 inch to 7/8 inch) by collar size - i.e. a small collar will have a narrower leather width than a large collar AND the name plate width will vary with the strap width.
