Customer Service -

Because we are a family run business we are looking for multi-talented individuals. We are the largest custom halter shop in Kentucky - with over 17,000 halters made last year, not to mention our belts pet collars and more. Over half of our business is mail-order and internet driven with a growing percentage being international orders. All design, color printing and marketing, including photography and web / ecommerce hosting and IT are handle completely in-house.

Above average computer and internet skills are necessary for the successful candidate. The ability to leverage technology to increase customer service, maximize and effectively communicate AND grow sales, are essential.

Tasks are not repetitive here and you would seldom stay on the same task for a full day. Day to day jobs could include, but not be limited to:

Phone and customer greeting
Taking Store Orders
Taking Phone Orders
Taking Phone request for catalogs and/or information
Email receipt and response
Order entry / computer
Customer followup
Database entry and reports
Assist with shipping and receiving
Direct / bulk mailings / email campaigns

Additional Pluses
Design and or marketing experience
Copy writing, newsletter editing
Book keeping, AR, AP, PO, Payroll,
Internet and web development experience

While these are the core responsibilities, organizational, communication and independent problem solving are key qualifications for the successful candidate. Our rapid growth necessitate the ability to work in a fast paced, fun environment and take on additional responsibilities as needed, not to mention, wear a number of hats.
